Chorus

Mightie Mike loved Korea

He lived here for a few years.

He could have stayed away this time

But he chose to come back again.

1) Mightie Mike loved his mother

Like he loved very life itself.

He told her he loved her

Kissed and hugged her

Went on by himself.

Mightie Mike loved Korea

He loved the sauna too.

He could have stayed away that time

Now he's not going back again.

The 14 other men there

And the sauna workers too

The emergency services phone operator

And police need no thank you.

Chorus

Mightie Mike loved Korea

He lived here for a few years.

He could have stayed away this time

But he chose to come back again

 2.) Big heart, big smile,

Only with us for a while.

Pure white as the driven snow.

What happened, will we ever know?

Looking for his happy face

Apart empty, out of place.

Waiting for a message or call

Phone's not ringing, at all.

Big smile, big heart

Loving family torn apart.

Why did he have to go?

When will we ever know?

People have got a beef

Police can't keep the peace.

The drummer has lost the beat.

What stole his life, what is the thief?

Chorus

Mightie Mike loved Korea

He lived here for a few years.

He Should have stayed away this time

"cause Korea didn't love him back

Creative Synergy Tribute

Mike was all about living life to the fullest~ at 14 he had already traveled more than most adults have at retirement...

Bangkok, Qingdao, Fukuoka, and ALL over Korea... Mike was well heeled when it came to expat adventure and fun times. Rarely seen without a big goofy grin, he often had everyone around him rolling in laughter with his sly wit and slapstick humor... and more than one fart joke to be sure~!

Such a bright light shouldn't be honored in a dreary gloomy fashion like a "funeral"... Mike deserves to have the laughter he so often gave others in a tribute to his life, as short as it was... he still knew how to love, laugh and love some more... things we adults so often have trouble with...

In order to give Mike some positive synergy, Julian has begun a lyrical tribute and welcomes all those with voice or musical talents to join in...

Add a stanza to the lyric... or jot down a tune in your head... or just email Julian and say hey~ I wanna play... (
