Mike's Birthday (June 28, 1993) is an appropiate day to celebrate his giving nature, loving friendships, and sparkling energy he shared with so many~
Mike's "funeral" will be held June 28, 2008 at AppleCore Park from 2pm-7pm rain or shine. (ok, it rained REALLY bad and it was at my apt~if you couldn't find us~wisht you'd called~)
A life celebration differs from a funeral in that while the time is dedicated to remembering Mike who has passed on to the next level of awareness, the honor is done through actions of friends and loved ones, rather than a eulogy. Guests are encouraged to laugh and tell stories about their time with Mike, to play some of his favorite games (volleyball, tag, frisbee, as well as board games aplenty), throw tennis balls for his dogs to fetch, enjoy having a picnic in the sun, and folks are encouraged to bring their children, as this is a child sensitive event.
Some folks have said they plan to bring their guitars and all are welcome to sing or play as the spirit moves you~
There will be cold drinks on hand for a hot thirsty afternoon, as well as charcol and gas table top grills for folks to use. There are several cozy restuarants near by, from pizza to kimbap as well as a fairly decent grocer. Alcohol will not be provided, yet if guest would like to drink in moderation they are welcome to bring their own.
After Party: 7pm, folks may want to gather at "la Cantina" the area's famous Mexican hangout with delicious dishes from the southwestern hemisphere and a full bar. directions to "la Cantina" will be provide on location.

By Train: From Dong Daegu train station, take a 10 minute commuter train to Gyeongsan. Tell the taxi driver "taewang dream heights sam pung dong Ka chew-say-yo" (3,000 won)
By Bus: Gyeongsan has a bus terminal, you should connect in Dongdaegu if possible. If you can't take a bus into DongDaegu, you're advised to transfer to train or subway, and go to DongDaegu train station to take a 10 minute commuter train to Gyeongsan. Trains leave every 15 minutes throughout the day.
